Hangar Supervisor - Northshore, Auckland
What We Are Looking For

Following the departure of a long serving employee we have this opportunity for a hands-on hangar supervisor.  It's a rare opportunity and will suit someone ready to ramp up their GA career and is passionate about running a successful hangar alongside a fantastic manager. 

An experienced rated and licensed engineer with a solid GA background who is, at least, confident working on Piper, Cessna, Robinson, Bell and MD Helicopters.  

As our hangar supervisor, you will be an excellent communicator and possess proven people management and training skills to lead your team of passionate engineers. We will choose you for your high standard of safety and compliance record, strong work ethic, respect and appreciation for efficient communication and your unmatched technical skills with suitable experience.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking licensed (min 4-5 years General Aviation experience) and unlicensed (trainees/allied trades) Engineers to join our successful, fun and passionate team of aviation fanatics. 

We seek motivated team players with a high level of technical ability, a strong work ethic with good communication skills, who can lead a team in the performance of quality maintenance to meet deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

With at least 5 years of General Aviation experienced, you will have a NZ CAA (or equivalent or able to converted soon) AME license, with Aeroplane and Powerplant categories. 

In order to carry out the work in this hangar, you will have Group 1, 2 and 4 Aeroplane Ratings, Group 1 and 2 Engine Ratings, TPE331 Engine Ratings will be an advantage but not critical.

We will choose you for your high standard of safety and compliance record, strong work ethic, respect and appreciation for efficient communication and your unmatched technical skills with suitable experience.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Northshore
What We Are Looking For

Our Northshore branch is seeking individuals with an interest in aviation, all things hands on, and with a good level of technical ability.

This role will be working alongside other experienced engineers who are responsible for mainly working on Airframe  MD500 (AS350) with B206 ratings and experience & RR250 and Arriel Turbine ratings and experience. 

You will have potentially worked on Cessna's Pipers and similar experience or any helicopter experience.

We require team players with a strong tidy work ethic and leadership skills who is prepared to put in extra hours when required to suit our customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Keen interest in aircraft engineering
  • Transferable experience and skills from other allied trades is acceptable
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attitude towards personal and workplace safety
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand

We are seeking a dynamic and administratively strong Technical Records Maintenance Planner to join our high-functioning and passionate team based at the Ardmore Hangar in Auckland.

The successful candidate will proactively provide technical records support to achieve completion of all aircraft records and documents.

This is an opportunity for an experienced maintenance planner to showcase their maintenance planning skills.

• Preparing work packages and aircraft technical records

• Processing complete work packages and updating aircraft technical records

• Aircraft maintenance planning and maintenance control both internally and extrnally

• Updating technical manuals

• Monitor NZ CAA issued Airworthiness Directives and manufacturers Service Bulletins

• Advising engineers and customers with regards to maintenance planning and maintenance control

• Continually improve systems and procedures where ever possible

• Assist with general admin duties as required

Based in our Ardmore/Hamilton Branch and reporting to the Group Safety & Quality Manager, this is a maternity cover role for a year.  This role presents a great opportunity to work as part of the wider health, safety & quality team. You'll have the opportunity to support, promote and instil a safety culture to ensure that safe working practices and programs are developed, implemented, maintained and continuously improved throughout Oceania Aviation Group.

Requirements

To be successful in your role you will have:

• Ideally a minimum of three years' of experience in a similar role• Self-starter, able to work autonomously and manage own time and tasks

Oceania Aircraft Sales is a world leader in agile and independent marketing for helicopter and fixed wing aircraft sales globally. We have vacancy for an in-house Sales Marketing and Support person to improve our international focus.

If you have a disposition towards taking ownership of your work and can cope being part of a team that supports international and domestic enquiry almost 24 hours a day, then this less than “traditional” marketing role might be your chance to show your potential.

We need a good all-rounder able to initiate brand management, show evidence of creative design, be fast with website updates, manage print and data entry with strong grammar and copywriting skills – basically someone able to get in and get what needs to happen done.

If you have experience and understanding of commiserate industries like Marine, Automotive, Heavy Machinery and Industry then you will find the work stimulating and be supported to learn the product and use your ideas to grow the brand in the international space.

Key responsibilites

•     Be conceptualising and research new avenues to promote aircraft and parts sales to the sales team and initiate if approved,  working with the CRM data to target specific client groups, copywriting important to create freshness and interesting blogs around aviation.

    Organise and manage files and shared folders

•    Prepare, proofread and organise sales documents and presentations

•    Update CRM for targeted marketing and sales requirements

•   Accurately update and manage aircraft and parts data accurately using numerous online platforms

•   Write product descriptions and create product spec sheets

•   Design print and digital ads

•   Create and manage lead generation tactics (online forms, pop-ups, digital ads)

•   Create marketing emails for sales and parts

Requirements

  • Strong computer and software skills (Microsoft and CRM systems)

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal 

  • Basic - intermediate experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)

  • Attention to detail and accuracy 

  • A desire to exceed expectations and become a valuable part of the team
